We’ve enjoyed our stay here for the week. It has been a hidden secret. The staff are absolutely nice and the room has been well kept. Comes with easy parking as we love to leave... daily on trips out to beaches. The view from our room was great. We decided to go with a mid level room and it didn’t disappoint. You can choose to add breakfast on, they delivered to your room. A breakfast for 2 was more than plenty for my husband and I as well as our 2 kids (age 11 & 10) to pick off of. We would stay here again. Room 42 is the room we specifically stayed in. Beach area is really nice with cushioned chairs and the most beautiful view. Waves can appear really big, but it’s shallow for a long ways. My kids enjoyed the beach and the excitement of the waves.weiterlesen

What a great team with the highest standards of service. It's a small place that provides you with all that you need. A private beautiful beach in front of an island, a nice pool,... a great kitchen with super affordable prices, and a big room with all the facilities. We arrived late, and the team waited for us to give us a proper introduction with the place. They were available for all of our needs and requests that were related to our 18-month-old baby. Kind, warm and generously acomidating people are the backbone of this beautiful stay. We are traveling with my 80yr old mother from Canada and everyone here, including the manager... who so kindly without hesitation drove us to a spot nearby that mom couldn't walk to for dinner, exemplify the Cretan hospitality that keeps us coming back every year. Mostly a fantastic stay. A+ staff and service. Food was great and location was convenient to the islands nicest beaches. We were setup with boat tours at really competitive... prices.There were two cons:1) we paid for a heated plunge pool. We were disappointed to find that the water was not even warm. The staff tried a few times to heat it up unsuccessfully.2) there was a large cockroach in our shower our first day. It made us wonder about where else they were. 5 stars across the board! My husband and I stayed here for the first half of our honeymoon and our experience was amazing from start to finish. Staff was extremely hospitable from... the moment we entered the hotel and they surprised us with a room upgrade to a two-floor beachfront suite with a little welcome decoration in our room. The room itself was extremely nice and the sunsets from the terrace were immaculate. We picked this place because we wanted some easy beach access and quiet away from the center of Chania, but with free accessible parking the Old Town is only a short 15-20min drive. Entire facilities are kept pristine and love that you can enjoy lunch from the comfort of your sunbed or from their restaurant. Breakfast was great, 10€ but honestly such great value for what you end up being served. Lots of activities to do onshore at the beach and the staff also provided a handwritten list of recommendations and suggestions when we arrived. Appreciate the hospitality and the lovely goodbye gift, we will for sure be coming back!!weiterlesen

We had a tremendous stay here. Staff was excellent, stayed in a standard room and the penthouse suite, and loved them both. I expected the beach to be crowded as it was early... I had a wonderful holiday at Vergina Beach Hotel. The staff overall were amazing, definitely top tier hospitality whether it was the staff at the front or on the beach making sure... everything was ok and taken care of or even housekeeping simply sharing a friendly smile. The food at the beach bar was yummy. Wonderful views. My only complaint is that I got a room with a heated plunge pool and it didn't appear heated (in all fairness, I didn't inquire at the front so I am not sure if it's just not actually heated or if there was something I needed to do) and I assumed I would have lounge chairs at the room by the pool but there were standard (the room next to mine had lounge chairs). There are lots of stores, restaurants, and bars around. Definitely a wonderful place to vacation and would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!weiterlesen

If you’re looking for a place to stay where you’re made to feel welcome and valued well this is the place. I have not a single bad thing to say about Vergina, from the second we... stepped foot inside to the moment we checked out our experience was perfect. The grounds are clean, well kept and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is incredible I’d like to shout out Sarah at the check in desk she was amazing. She hand wrote us amazing recommendations of places to visit and places to eat. The bar staff was also amazing! Our stay included breakfast and it was INCREDIBLE… I wouldn’t hesitate to pay for breakfast if it wasn’t included. The beach area is very nice and there were lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. We had the most amazing visit! The hospitality shown here is above and beyond. Every member of the staff treated us like family and had great personalities. We visited here in May while staying at few different hotels.We enjoyed this place and importantly the people working there so much that we ended up staying an extra night than... we intended, and then ended up cancelling our hotel at the other side of the island and hiring a car to drive back to stay here again for our lastnight of holiday.Really can’t stress enough how amazing it was. The rooms were amazing. Views and location amazing. We like visiting new places, and have never gone on holiday to the same place twice. That's just changed! The Vergina beach hotel is superb and we want to come back. The whole... family (3 teenage daughters) loved it, the service is incredible and the attention to detail really impressive. It's on a great sandy location on the beach with a lovely view. Even at the height of summer loungers and fresh beach towels are no problem every day. The food is delicious and the rooms bright, modern and very clean. The property is beautiful and modern and had everything you could... want including access to beach chairs all day - a free car park- multiple pools- a spa, gym, steam room and sauna! We had the best holiday here and i cant speak any more highly of the hotel and the staff there. On arrival, we got upgraded to a full sea view room which was amazing and our view... was stunning, especially around sunset. Everything was run so smoothly and the service was first rate for us. The staff were engaging and extremly helpfull with any requests and recommendations for trips/restaurants. They were also instrumental in helping me plan my (very late) proposal to my girlfriend!! Just had the most pleasant stay at this nice and cozy little hotel! The staff are the nicest and very helpful, make you feel very welcome even as a solo traveler, they ever... upgraded me to a better room for free. Also, breakfasts are very substantial and varied, beautiful beach with plenty of sunbeds and great location overall with the bus to Chania right outside the hotel. We absolutely loved this place. All their staff is amazing and genuinely welcoming. The location could not be better, right on the beach, and close to amenities. What we... especially appreciated was the free parking lot right next to the property. They gave fantastic restaurant recommendations that were not your usual tourist traps and yet walking distance. It's the staff that make this place a 5 star experience. I think because its ultimately family run there is so much more love and care that goes into maintaining the hotel. At... breakfast we are greeted with big warming smiles and after a couple of days Angelo remembered our order. He also made us feel comfortable and not judged when our one year old had little strops. The breakfast was delicious and we were over the moon when the hotel gave it to us for free as an upgrade. Yes it's small gestures like that that make this place truly remarkable. The rooms are lovely with all the amenities and if you need a high chair in your room during your stay just ask. We had a sea view which I'm glad for because the non sea view rooms face walls or the street. The beach is great and the sun loungers comfy. The pools are not heated and can only really be used in the height if summer. There us a local bus that runs up and down the coast to Chania.
