There are hotels that offer great facilities, and then there are places that leave a lasting impression because of the people. Vergina Beach Resort is definitely the latter.

Everything about our stay felt effortless. The hotel is beautifully maintained, the atmosphere is peaceful, and waking up just a few steps from the sea was the perfect way to start every day. Whether we wanted to relax by the beach or explore the surrounding area, the location couldn't have been better.

What truly makes this resort exceptional is the genuine care shown by everyone on the team. Every interaction felt personal rather than routine, creating an experience that was warm, relaxed, and authentic. It is rare to find a place where service feels so natural and sincere.

Every detail throughout our stay reflected how much pride the team takes in creating a memorable experience. By the end of our holiday, it genuinely felt difficult to leave.

Such a beautiful family owned boutique beach hotel. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Crete. Thank You to Aggelos, Melina, and the entire team for taking such good care of us! Melina was so very helpful even before us arriving with booking transfers and booking and an olive and wine tasting. The company they work with for transfers ( George and team) were so professional and reliable. The suite we stayed in was so beautiful and modern. The breakfast was amazing and the beach itself was so so beautiful. Aggelos and team took such good care of us during breakfast and our time on the beach. Ample beach chairs, no stress for anything during our stay! Thank You Vergina Beach team for showing us true Cretan hospitality!

Fantastic experience. We were here 2 years ago and we were very happy with the service. We came back again because of the great time we had. After 2 years, their service was even better. Every single person here is friendly, kind, polite, and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.
The beach bar waiters and waitresses are more than amazing.

We had an outstanding 5 night experience at Vergina Beach Resort!!! The staff were all amazing with so many personal touches. It was our wedding anniversary and they went out of their way to make it a really special day for us. They were also very attentive on the beach when we ordered drinks and food:).
The location of the resort on the beach is so beautiful. We ate a lovely breakfast every morning overlooking the beach & sea. There are plenty of beach chairs and they are very handily situated right in front of the resort.
The sea was stunning with clear, shallow and sandy waters. We rented SUPs and paddled over to the island in front of the resort and it was clear and blue the whole way. There are many supermarkets and great restaurants with sunset views only a few steps away. We are a family of 4 with two teenage kids, and we chose a maisonette with a jacuzzi on the balcony which was perfect for us:). Overall, we absolutely loved our time at Vergina and would definitely recommend it!!

I can barely express in worlds what a wonderful stay we had at Vergina Beach hotel. The staff from the moment we called them when our plane was going to be very late (Inna stayed over for us to check us in and even brought up snacks and waters to make sure we were okay.) to the moment we left, we were treated like family. I am not exaggerating, everyone knows your name and the level of service was unmatched. They must take happy pills in Chania because you can’t help but feel like everyone there really loves what they do. The food is excellent especially the breakfasts. The Greek omelet was my favorite and I ate it every morning for six days. Fresh squeezed juice, everything is very fresh. The bartenders are friendly, the housekeepers are thorough, the condos are spacious and have a kitchenette and the views are spectacular.Vergina is conveniently located and makes a good home base. You can easily arrange day trips to the other beaches and historic sites. I want to extend a special thanks to Inna, Aggelos, Manolis, Sophia, Giorges, Baya, Natalie, Sergio, Melina, and Ergit. If I forgot someone I apologize. Everyone we met was terrific. Stop right now if you are looking to book in Chania. This is it.

If you’re planning a trip to Chania, Crete, this hotel is a must stay! It’s family owned by the sweetest Greek/Cretan family who are there every day making sure your stay is perfect. The staff is unbelievably friendly and they want to accommodate your every needs. They have so many options of rooms to choose from, depending on your needs and group size. The location couldn’t be more perfect, right on their beautiful beach and walking distance to everything you need. Their food and drinks are delicious! Aggelos is the perfect host and anticipates things that will make your stay even better! We had a large group of friends and family stay there, and he and their staff accommodated everyone perfectly. Aggelos is so kind, funny and is incredibly hard working. All of their staff are, from housekeeping, to the reception, their restaurant/bar service and the owners, they all make you feel like family! You’ll be sad to leave, I always am and I can’t wait to return! 💙🇬🇷

Stayed here based on reviews and they were all correct. Same as almost every review - clean, good rooms, food including breakfast on beach excellent but clear highlight was the staff. Welcoming, friendly, helpful and anything else you would want from all staff. Location right on sea with a lovely beach bar and also very close to bus stops. Would love to return.

Our stay at Vergina Beach Resort was nothing short of exceptional. We chose this beautiful hotel for our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated like family.

Every interaction was met with a smile, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and personal touch truly set this hotel apart.

Our room was absolutely spectacular. Waking up each morning to the breathtaking sea view was a dream, and the private plunge pool was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the incredible surroundings. The room was beautifully designed, spotless, and offered everything we could have hoped for during such a special trip.

The location is perfect, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the level of service is outstanding. What made our honeymoon so memorable wasn’t just the stunning accommodations—it was the people. The entire team made us feel valued, cared for, and at home.

If you are looking for an amazing beach front hotel, then I cannot recommend this hotel enough. My girlfriend and I spent a week here in the off season in May and it was excellent. Everything from the reception, to the housekeeping, the food and especially the service was just fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. From directions to local places and restaurants at the reception, to the epic service by the team at the breakfast and beach front, to all of the housekeeping greeting us with a smile as we walked past. As we explored more and more through the week, we came to realize that not only did these guys have a really prime spot for relaxing at the beach, but also just how personal and attentive the staff are. Honestly, you could come to visit Crete and never have to do anything other than make the walk from your hotel room to the beach and back whilst being waited on hand and foot in the comfy beach chairs. We cannot recommend this place enough and would happily return again. Keep up the good work to all the team. You are all awesome.

We absolutely loved the experience, hospitality, and friendliness of the staff. Especially Sofia was an exceptional host, helped us with the touristic recommendations, our questions and needs.
It’s no surprise that Crete is known for having some of the best hospitality in the world!

Our room was very spacious and clean. The hotel is also conveniently located, with many great restaurants nearby. It takes 15 minutes by taxi to arrive the Chania old center.

One of the hotel’s biggest highlights is the beautiful beach right in front of it.

Very recommendable for a chill and nice vacation in Crete!

We had an amazing stay at Vergina Beach Resort! The staff were exceptional..so friendly, welcoming, and always helpful throughout our trip. The food was absolutely delicious and one of our favorite parts of staying there. The beach was beautiful with stunning views and such a relaxing atmosphere. We also loved that it was within walking distance to so many shops and restaurants, which made everything super convenient. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and set up really well. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Crete!

Just spent five nights here and sorry we had to leave. The hospitality was the best we've ever experienced. The entire staff was so welcoming and friendly, from being greeted by Melina who made us feel at home upon arrival to Angelos who served us a delicious breakfast each morning and then gave us wonderful recommendations each day of what to see and do. The room was so clean and the bed very comfortable. The views of the sunset were spectacular. Can't wait to return.

Fantastic stay at Vergina Beach Hotel in Crete. The beach was beautiful and pristine. The room was gorgeous and spacious, with everything you would need. Our favourite part was the breakfast spread everyday that kept us full and was made the freshest ingredients. All the staff were amazing and very helpful. To get to town, there is a bus right across the hotel. We will definitely come back to Vergina next time we're in Crete.

We had a very relaxing stay in Vergina. This place offers everything you need to unwind. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They took very good care of us and they are the reason I would like to come back in the future. 11/10 stars. Hotel rooms are very well designed and have a kitchen with everything you need for cooking. The extra bath is great too. I very much enjoyed the gym - small but enough for holidays and sauna with cold pool, jacuzzi and hammam. Cleaning service was top. Beds are big and comfortable for two adults. Thank you very much for everything! I will recommend this hotel to others.

+ wonderful experience, hotel is amazing, staff is really warm and welcoming, breakfast was great. 10/10. Location was great, the parking was also good, the communication with the hotel before the arrival was also good. We got one room for the beginning of the stay and another one for the end, and the last room was better than the first, with ocean view and everything new.
- The first room I got was a little noisy because of the street, but it was the room we booked. we also had a small issue with the window not closing but they fixed right away when we informed. It was not really a negative point I think.

Now that we have stayed there, we can see why the amazing reviews. We felt extremely welcomed since the beginning and the hotel is perfect for a relaxing holidays in Crete.
The room had all you needed and if not they will get if for you. Breakfast is delicious, big and with views to the ocean during calm mornings. We also had lunch because prices were really good and sizes also good.
We even went to the gym haha.
Thanks so much for everything, is an amazing place to stay no matter the age.

We were treated like a family even organized a live music for us! Which was so nice. Room was clean and tidy. Beautiful, private beach and glass pool with a lot of sunbeds. Delicious food and great drinks! Breakfast was included and was very good.

We had a fabulous 8 nights at the Vergina Beach Hotel. This was our first visit to Crete and love this hotel and the area. The staff was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond with great attitudes and service. We arrived rather late on our first night and were hungry. The manager recommended a couple of the restaurants all within a short walk. We never had a bad meal while here or anywhere in Greece.
We had booked a partial sea view room and when we arrived we were offered an upgrade, at no charge, to a sea front room. The room was wonderful.
We would highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Crete and the Chania area.

Stayed here on our mini moon, we loved it so much we extended our stay. Beautiful views and clean modern rooms. The highlight is the staff, they are so lovely and helpful. They had so many thoughtful surprises for us as we had just got married. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful! If I could give this hotel more than five stars, I would. From the start, the staff at the hotel was great. We had arranged transportation from the airport to the hotel, but our flight was delayed by several hours. The hotel kept in touch with us the entire time and a taxi service was waiting for us when we arrived in Chania to take us to the hotel.

We stayed in one of the sea front 2 story rooms in the new building which was beautiful. If you can get room 48, do it! We couldn’t have been any closer to the beach. The hotel sits on one of the best beaches in Agia Marina - nice sand and not rocky. If you walk out the front door of the hotel there are plenty of restaurants, shops, rental car agencies, supermarkets etc.

Absolutely stunning boutique hotel that is perfect for a family or couple's beach vacation in Crete. This is right in the middle and close to everything in Agia Marina, but still feels very private and quiet. Walking distance to so many great restaurants and shops and excellent beachfront amenities and private parking on site. The rooms are clean and modern with impeccable decor and comfortable bedding. We booked the Sea front Suite with Sea Facing views for my husband and myself (pictures attached) and the Three Room Apartment for our 4 teen/young adult kids. The Sea Front Suite was very spacious and had an amazing view of the sea and the three room apartment was perfect for our kids- had so much space with enough room for 3 boys to spread out and have their own bathroom and for our daughter to have her own room and en suite. They also have larger units that we could have all stayed in together. The showers are amazing with hot water and great water pressure and the rooms stay nice and cool. My only complaint about the rooms is that the lighting could be better, especially in the bathroom of the sea front suite (the shower area was very dark) and the common area of the 3 room apartment could have used some overhead lighting or extra lamps. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay! The breakfasts are amazing and plentiful and the service is perfection! The same crew that services breakfast also offer beach service while using the sun beds. They are so friendly and hospitable and are very hardworking. The staff at the front desk are so helpful and gave us many recommendations for dining and activities upon check in. Overall, it was the perfect stay for us and we would definitely choose Vergina Beach again!

I can't say enough good things about Vergina Beach Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The beachfront location is simply unbeatable – you’re just steps from the sea, and they even provide beach towels, which made relaxing by the water effortless.

What truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. Every single person we encountered – from the friendly front desk team, the attentive bar and beach waiters, to the warm and welcoming breakfast staff – went above and beyond. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel at home in the best way possible. Words honestly can’t describe how amazing they all were.

The food was absolutely delicious, with generous breakfast portions that kept us full and happy. And the coffee – so yummy! It was the perfect start to each morning by the beach.

Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. I couldn’t have asked for anything more – it was the perfect place to unwind after a day in the sun.

Another huge plus is the location – there are tons of great restaurants within walking distance, so it was easy to explore the local food scene without needing to drive anywhere.

If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful stay in Crete with top-notch service, amazing food, and a dream beachfront setting, I highly recommend Vergina Beach Hotel. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We’ve enjoyed our stay here for the week. It has been a hidden secret. The staff are absolutely nice and the room has been well kept. Comes with easy parking as we love to leave daily on trips out to beaches. The view from our room was great. We decided to go with a mid level room and it didn’t disappoint. You can choose to add breakfast on, they delivered to your room. A breakfast for 2 was more than plenty for my husband and I as well as our 2 kids (age 11 & 10) to pick off of. We would stay here again. Room 42 is the room we specifically stayed in. Beach area is really nice with cushioned chairs and the most beautiful view. Waves can appear really big, but it’s shallow for a long ways. My kids enjoyed the beach and the excitement of the waves.

What a great team with the highest standards of service. It's a small place that provides you with all that you need. A private beautiful beach in front of an island, a nice pool, a great kitchen with super affordable prices, and a big room with all the facilities. We arrived late, and the team waited for us to give us a proper introduction with the place. They were available for all of our needs and requests that were related to our 18-month-old baby. We highly recommend this place for families, but also for couples looking for a romantic, quiet place.

Kind, warm and generously acomidating people are the backbone of this beautiful stay. We are traveling with my 80yr old mother from Canada and everyone here, including the manager who so kindly without hesitation drove us to a spot nearby that mom couldn't walk to for dinner, exemplify the Cretan hospitality that keeps us coming back every year. Stylish clean rooms, easy beach asess, and food on-site. Thank you to the Vergina Beach Hotel team for a wonderful stay !

Mostly a fantastic stay. A+ staff and service. Food was great and location was convenient to the islands nicest beaches. We were setup with boat tours at really competitive prices.

There were two cons:
1) we paid for a heated plunge pool. We were disappointed to find that the water was not even warm. The staff tried a few times to heat it up unsuccessfully.
2) there was a large cockroach in our shower our first day. It made us wonder about where else they were. Perhaps it was an unlucky occurrence. We did not see another.

5 stars across the board! My husband and I stayed here for the first half of our honeymoon and our experience was amazing from start to finish. Staff was extremely hospitable from the moment we entered the hotel and they surprised us with a room upgrade to a two-floor beachfront suite with a little welcome decoration in our room. The room itself was extremely nice and the sunsets from the terrace were immaculate. We picked this place because we wanted some easy beach access and quiet away from the center of Chania, but with free accessible parking the Old Town is only a short 15-20min drive. Entire facilities are kept pristine and love that you can enjoy lunch from the comfort of your sunbed or from their restaurant. Breakfast was great, 10€ but honestly such great value for what you end up being served. Lots of activities to do onshore at the beach and the staff also provided a handwritten list of recommendations and suggestions when we arrived. Appreciate the hospitality and the lovely goodbye gift, we will for sure be coming back!!

Probably the best hotel I found in years. The price-quality ratio is unbeatable. That is mainly because of the kindest staff I ever encountered in an hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. Also the location is right on the beach with free sun loungers. And to top it all off you receive a goodbye gift. Thank you for everything!

We had a tremendous stay here. Staff was excellent, stayed in a standard room and the penthouse suite, and loved them both. I expected the beach to be crowded as it was early July, but no issues as beach loungers were available. Great location for seeing the Chania region, plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance.

I had a wonderful holiday at Vergina Beach Hotel. The staff overall were amazing, definitely top tier hospitality whether it was the staff at the front or on the beach making sure everything was ok and taken care of or even housekeeping simply sharing a friendly smile. The food at the beach bar was yummy. Wonderful views. My only complaint is that I got a room with a heated plunge pool and it didn't appear heated (in all fairness, I didn't inquire at the front so I am not sure if it's just not actually heated or if there was something I needed to do) and I assumed I would have lounge chairs at the room by the pool but there were standard (the room next to mine had lounge chairs). There are lots of stores, restaurants, and bars around. Definitely a wonderful place to vacation and would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a place to stay where you’re made to feel welcome and valued well this is the place. I have not a single bad thing to say about Vergina, from the second we stepped foot inside to the moment we checked out our experience was perfect. The grounds are clean, well kept and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is incredible I’d like to shout out Sarah at the check in desk she was amazing. She hand wrote us amazing recommendations of places to visit and places to eat. The bar staff was also amazing! Our stay included breakfast and it was INCREDIBLE… I wouldn’t hesitate to pay for breakfast if it wasn’t included. The beach area is very nice and there were lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. This is a great place for relaxing and recharging, I will be back for sure.

We had the most amazing visit! The hospitality shown here is above and beyond. Every member of the staff treated us like family and had great personalities. The view from our seafront maisonette was spectacular(as pictured). The room was spotless with plenty of room to accommodate us. The breakfast was superb with great options and generous portions. It is evident that the people here truly want you to enjoy your visit. We parted with the nicest parting gift and a sincere smile. We look forward to our next visit here.

The best hotel in Agia. The front of house staff are professional, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast and beach staff are second to none. Kitchen and service staff don't normally get included in reviews, but they get a 5☆from us

Have not stayed in the rooms yet, but I usually go to this beach (been there like 9 years now). Good food in the restaurant -they have the best salad! Really nice people working there, would highly recommend this place!

Took the family to Crete for a 3 week holiday. We’re so grateful to have stayed at Vergina Beach Hotel. The best part of the hotel is the amazing staff. Aggelos who works at the beach bar is an amazing host, who made everyone feel special on a daily basis. Inna, Maria and Anna who work around the hotel where amazing people to see everyday. Once again, we’re so grateful for everyone at Vergina, we highly recommend staying here.

We visited here in May while staying at few different hotels.
We enjoyed this place and importantly the people working there so much that we ended up staying an extra night than we intended, and then ended up cancelling our hotel at the other side of the island and hiring a car to drive back to stay here again for our lastnight of holiday.
Really can’t stress enough how amazing it was. The rooms were amazing. Views and location amazing. Breakfast was so good!
My girlfriend was pregnant at the time and were literally looking at coming back in October just to see the staff again with the baby.

We like visiting new places, and have never gone on holiday to the same place twice. That's just changed! The Vergina beach hotel is superb and we want to come back. The whole family (3 teenage daughters) loved it, the service is incredible and the attention to detail really impressive. It's on a great sandy location on the beach with a lovely view. Even at the height of summer loungers and fresh beach towels are no problem every day. The food is delicious and the rooms bright, modern and very clean. There's plenty of great restaurants within a very short walk and loads of other stuff to do. We'll be back!

Vergina is the best hotel! The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much of an ask. They are all so kind. The property is beautiful and modern and had everything you could want including access to beach chairs all day - a free car park- multiple pools- a spa, gym, steam room and sauna! The cocktails are great. The beach food is delicious. The cleaning staff… are fairy god mothers. I cannot rate this highly enough! We want to live here ????

We had the best holiday here and i cant speak any more highly of the hotel and the staff there. On arrival, we got upgraded to a full sea view room which was amazing and our view was stunning, especially around sunset. Everything was run so smoothly and the service was first rate for us. The staff were engaging and extremly helpfull with any requests and recommendations for trips/restaurants. They were also instrumental in helping me plan my (very late) proposal to my girlfriend!! Thank you for such a memorable week.

It’s a great hotel with extraordinarily good service and friendly staff. The beach is great and water is clean. You can stay here and relax at the beach as food is good and sunbeds are for free. Parking is free behind the hotel. We got a free welcome drink upon arrival ♥️????????

Just had the most pleasant stay at this nice and cozy little hotel! The staff are the nicest and very helpful, make you feel very welcome even as a solo traveler, they ever upgraded me to a better room for free. Also, breakfasts are very substantial and varied, beautiful beach with plenty of sunbeds and great location overall with the bus to Chania right outside the hotel. Recommend 100% and book directly from their website for a better rate

A great beach hotel! We just got back from 10 days here and can’t recommend enough. The rooms are comfortable, the beach access is amazing and the service is some of the best we’ve come across. Special shout out to Aggelos who seemed to manage to be everywhere at once but always having a great time! We also really enjoyed the bar in the evening and the local area is very handy for walking to a nice dinner. It was everything we were looking for - thank you!

We absolutely loved this place. All their staff is amazing and genuinely welcoming. The location could not be better, right on the beach, and close to amenities. What we especially appreciated was the free parking lot right next to the property. They gave fantastic restaurant recommendations that were not your usual tourist traps and yet walking distance. Thier breakfast was delicious, we had it on the beach. We loved the small details: personal welcome, being shown around, welcome drinks, a small parting gift, and local suggestions. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I would stay here again.

It's the staff that make this place a 5 star experience. I think because its ultimately family run there is so much more love and care that goes into maintaining the hotel. At breakfast we are greeted with big warming smiles and after a couple of days Angelo remembered our order. He also made us feel comfortable and not judged when our one year old had little strops. The breakfast was delicious and we were over the moon when the hotel gave it to us for free as an upgrade. Yes it's small gestures like that that make this place truly remarkable. The rooms are lovely with all the amenities and if you need a high chair in your room during your stay just ask. We had a sea view which I'm glad for because the non sea view rooms face walls or the street. The beach is great and the sun loungers comfy. The pools are not heated and can only really be used in the height if summer. There us a local bus that runs up and down the coast to Chania. Overall great stay, thank you for an amazing holiday.

The best hotel! Boutique hôtel with the best view and private dreamy beach, super clean rooms! Incredibly professional and warm staff with best recommendations. All facilities are available! Delicious food, lovely breakfast, charming pool… This was just an amazing stay!!!!!!!
